Job Purpose Statement
The role involves delivering profitable business growth targets for retail banking products through the workplace banking and mortgage value proposition. Key activities include:
• Signing up companies, particularly those with a corporate relationship with NCBA Bank.
• Creating opportunities for bulk business.
• Managing customer expectations to sustain relationships and provide business advice.
Key Accountabilities
Financial (70%)
• Drive growth in business volumes (deposits and loans), customers, and accounts.
• Establish new retail banking business relationships with corporate, SME, and institutional clients.
• Manage scheme customer expectations and relationships.
• Participate fully in promotional activities, customer events, and product clinics.
Internal Business Processes (10%)
• Minimize risks through KYC, AML, and portfolio maintenance.
• Implement and review processes.
• Conduct annual scheme reviews.
Customer (15%)
• Maintain robust customer satisfaction ratings by ensuring adherence to NCBA values.
• Ensure high levels of customer engagement during promotional activities, events, and product clinics.
Learning and Growth (5%)
• Ensure 100% participation in internal and external training sessions.

• Internal: Relationship Managers, Marketing, Risk, Branch Managers, and frontline teams.
• External: HR managers, CFOs, payroll administrators, realtors, and property developers.

• Managerial decisions related to scheme company management.
• Recommendations on pricing, promotions, and new products.
Ideal Job Specifications
Academic
• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
Professional
• Customer Relationship Management certification.
Experience
• 4 years of customer relations management, preferably in banking.
Technical Competencies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• At least 2 years of sales and relationship management experience.
Behavioral Competencies
• Strong business direction setting and talent growth.
• Ability to manage oneself and delight customers.
