INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION TO DEVELOP, FINANCE, IMPLEMENT AND MAINTAIN MINI-GRIDS IN NORTHERN, CENTRAL AND EASTERN REGIONS OF UGANDA UNDER A PUBLIC PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP (PPP).

The Government of Uganda represented by the Ministry of Energy and Shortlisting is open to all eligible applicants. The maximum number of Mineral Development (MEMD) has received funds from the German shortlisted applicants is ten (10). Financial Cooperation via KFW for the “Get Access Uganda – Support to Mini-grids” programme (BMZ No 2017.67.904) and intends to apply part of the proceeds of these funds towards the cost for the procurement to Develop, Finance, Implement and Maintain Mini-Grids In Northern, Central and Eastern Regions of Uganda Under Public Private Partnership (PPP).

The MEMD now invites suitably qualified applicants to submit sealed shortlisting submissions for this tender. The pre-qualification for developers will be implemented in accordance with the Public Private Partnership Act, 2015 and its attendant Regulation of 2019 and KfW “Guidelines for Procurement Guidelines for the Procurement of getaccess-uganda@multiconsultgroup.com Consulting Services, Works, Plant, Goods and Non-Consulting Services in Financial Cooperation with Partners” (2021).
