Overall Purpose of the Job

The purpose of the Apprentice Operations Coordinator role is to provide hands-on training and support in coordinating and managing daily operational activities in a safe manner and in accordance with Expro quality procedures. The apprentice will gain practical experience in planning, scheduling, and overseeing workflows, ensuring smooth and efficient operations while learning about company policies, procedures, and best practices. This role serves as a foundation for developing the skills and knowledge required to become a competent Operations Coordinator.

Key Activities and Accountabilities

1. During 2nd to 4th year of apprenticeship, the apprentice will be on site to work to the schedule as set out by the Site Managers, ensuring all output complies with specified quality requirements (e.g. Quality Plans, Data Sheets, Client drawings).

2. Attend college and actively participate in the learning process to achieve qualifications as set out in the apprentice standard, and as required for the duration of the apprenticeship.

3. Ensure on-time completion of work in line with department plans.

4. Be punctual, reliable and perform any reasonable duties expected throughout the period of the apprenticeship.

5. Work positively to continually improve personal knowledge and experience.

Job Knowledge and Qualifications

1. Experience in technical, mechanical or electronic disciplines

2. Formal Technical qualification in Engineering

3. Effective communication skills
