BID NOTICE UNDER OPEN BIDDING
Supply and Delivery of 2No. Mobile Laboratory Vans., PR- MAAIF- ÁVCP/SUPLS/2023-24/00012.
The Republic of Uganda through the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal industry and Fisheries has received Financing from the African Development Bank towards the cost of Agricultural Value Chain Development Programme – Project 1. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for Supply and Delivery of 2No. Mobile Laboratory Vans.
The Ministry of Agriculture Animal Industry and Fisheries invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Supply and Delivery of 2No. Mobile Laboratory Vans.
Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic Bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and is open to all eligible bidders.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 8 (a) from 8:00AM-5:00PM.
The Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at 5(c) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Ugx. 100,000/= (Uganda Shillings One Hundred Thousand only). The method of payment will be through the Banks authorized to receive non-taxable revenue.
Bids must be delivered to the address below at 8(a) at or before 11.00 AM, on 15th March 2024. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of Ugx. 18,240,000/= (Uganda Shillings Eighteen Million Two Hundred Forty Thousand only) or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency. The Bid security must be valid until 10th September 2024. Late bids shall be rejected.
Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 5(c) at 11.30 AM, 15th March 2024.
There shall be a pre-bid meeting at 10.00 am on 4th March 2024 at the AVCP-1 National Project Coordination Office on 2nd Floor, Trust Tower – Plot 4, Kyadondo Road- Nakasero, Kampala.
