About the Job:
You will be responsible for establishing simple and effective frameworks and processes to lead and manage the project management and business analytics function.
You will also leverage your expertise to provide structure, control and oversight in project decision-making, and to ensure resources are efficiently managed and all business functions have the support they need.
Key Responsibilities:
Business analysis & planning
• Work with the different functional managers to create account and business level reports that consolidate both financial and operational performance data.
• Create dashboards and reports that are updated regularly and used to monitor live performance at the Center.
• Analyze trends in data and advise the heads of management of foreseeable risks and potential mitigation strategies.
• Anticipate and plan for future resource needs based on existing workload, velocity and development pipeline.
• Implement project success analytics to include initial work estimation and investment/profit and loss analysis.
Project Management
• Define and oversee the full project management life cycle for the implementation of a range of project types in the enterprise:
• Complex, large-scale projects to smaller initiatives
• Strategic business transformation endeavors to tactical, maintenance, or operational projects
• Demonstrate thought leadership for project management development and optimization:
• Facilitate executive conversations regarding budget, resources, schedule and risk
• Establish strong internal relationships and credibility as a trusted advisor
• Commit to timely achievement and maintenance of required certification credentials
• Manage and report on business initiatives to executive leadership, including both verbal and written communications regarding KPIs, project status, risks and issues.
Performance management
• Work with different account managers to create performance-based data driven incentive systems that promotes successful business outcomes.
• Work collaboratively across functional departments to resolve issues and generate ideas on how to improve functions.
Process management
• Develop and deploy a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and ensure that best practices are upheld with regular testing and revisions
• Work with the different functional managers to ensure that their processes are documented and up to date versions are available on the designated media
• Lead the business automation initiative from file-to-databases driven tools through standardization of processes and preparing functional requirements for our engineering team.
Cross-functional Collaboration
• Collaborate with the Sales team in projects scoping (TPT Analysis, assumptions, challenges)
• Manage the team that will be involved in scoping projects
• Manage pilot projects and ensure they meet the set SLAs.
• Manage and provide feedback on special R&D projects as may be designed by the engineering team
• Process and analyze scoping data for trends and insights
• Collaborate with Account Managers to identify and place any additional support resources (Team Leaders, Quality Analysts, Associates) that may be required for projects scoping.
Minimum Qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a focus on business and technology.
• At least 5 years of project management experience delivering technology services or business consulting services as a program or project manager in a complex technical environment
• Advanced Excel skills, with proficiency in Excel shortcuts, formulas, pivot tables, and macros.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and SQL.
• Understanding of financial principles with experience in analyzing financial data.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in creating business level presentations for other managers and clients where required.
• Experience managing systems implementations across multiple lines of business
• Experience delivering professional services for a product company
• Ability to quickly establish credibility and rapport with technical team members and clients
• Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate meetings and articulate complex concepts
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship building skills
• Ability to work well in a cross-functional, matrix management environment with a highly collaborative, team oriented approach to problem solving
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively with a high level of attention to detail
• Positive, energetic attitude to achieve great things
• Ability to break down complex data into simple reports.
