Risk Officer job at Admin Core Uganda

Job Summary:
The Risk Officer will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks within the organization to ensure its operations are secure and compliant with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement the organization’s risk management framework and policies.
• Monitor and analyze the organization’s risk exposure and prepare periodic risk assessment reports.
• Conduct risk audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations.
• Advise management on potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure risks are managed proactively.
• Monitor the effectiveness of risk controls and propose improvements where necessary.

Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Risk Management, Economics, or a related field.
• Professional certifications in Risk Management (e.g., FRM, PRM, or CRISC) will be an added advantage.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in risk management, audit, or compliance roles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to identify and assess complex risks and propose practical solutions.
