Job Overview
The Recruitment Consultant – Oil & Gas, will be responsible for sourcing suitable candidates for clients with focus on positions within the oil & gas industry. He/She will manage and implement the recruitment process to achieve set quantitively results.
The job holder will effectively carry out the full cycle recruitment process and will be responsible for candidates’ evaluation, ensuring maximum placements are made from open roles. The ideal candidate must have hands-on extensive experience in recruitment, with focus on the oil & gas industry.
Responsibilities
• Day to day sourcing, recruiting and matching most suitable candidates with open oil & gas related jobs for Aldelia clients.
• Understand clients’ requests and efficiently source for candidates that best fit requirements.
• Have a clear and thorough understanding of current recruitment methods with focus on the oil & gas industry.
• Have experience in selecting the adequate sourcing tool and strategy (advertising; head hunting) for best results.
• Identify, approach, and influence suitable passive candidates to achieve higher chances of placements.
• Device a strategic approach to source and attract suitable candidates.
• Responsible for placing adverts on job boards and websites if requested.
• Review job applications, pre-screen and pre-interview candidates to assess their suitability for open positions prior to making submissions to clients.
• Carry-out the complete recruitment cycle.
• Maintain and extract an up-to-date report of new positions from the database as required.
• Brief candidates and provide clarity where needed on salary, benefits and all related questions on open job opportunities.
• Responsible for the optimal turnaround of recruitment pipelines to placements.
• Review and evaluate all CV’s accurately as per the client’s requirements.
• Coordinate all recruitment activities and interface with top management when applicable.
• Update all recruitment reports on the software.
• Research and recommend new creative sourcing methodologies.
• Any other duties when required

Person Specification
Preferred Experience and Education
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Recruitment, Talent Acquisition or HR in the Oil & Gas Industry is a MUST for this role.
• Bachelor’s degree qualified ideally in Human Resources, Social Sciences, Business or Humanities.
Preferred Experience and Education
• Proficiency in English and French is required.
Skills
• A high level of interpersonal, verbal and writing skills.
• Ability to perform (phone and in-person) interview, candidate screening and evaluation.
• Attention to detail.
• Can consistently meet competing demands through effective prioritizing in a result orientated and client-focused environment.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment practices, databases, and metrics.
