JOB DETAILS:
Uganda Technology and Management University (UTAMU) is seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to fill the position of Quality Assurance Officer.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop or review the quality assurance framework, plans, tools, and strategies.
• Advise on and monitor quality assurance requirements for teaching, learning, research and community outreach programs;
• Provide technical and professional support to the various academic and administrative units.
• Plan, implement and continually improve the quality management systems.
• Coordinate the conduct of quality management system audits and conformity assessments by External Advisors, Assessors and auditing, certification, accreditation or pre- qualification bodies.
• Communicate quality management targets, shortfalls, remedial measures and improved processes and procedures;
Qualifications
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Educational Administration and Management; Management Science; Information Systems; or business
• Demonstrated experience in the Quality Assurance role
• Working knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, etc.)
• Computer literate, with the ability to use a range of Microsoft software packages, including Word, Excel, Power point, etc
Added Advantage
• Experience of working with Higher Institutions of learning
• Experience in E-learning
• Training in monitoring and evaluation
• Age bracket
• 25-40 years
