Role Description
Raising The Village (RTV) is looking for an organized and driven Project Coordinator to support the Project Manager in overseeing the implementation, evaluation, and reporting of high-impact projects within our programs. This role is crucial for ensuring project tasks are completed on time, within budget, and to the standards required, facilitating the successful execution of programs under third-party evaluation, pilot projects, and restricted-funded projects. The Project Coordinator will assist in project management tasks, documentation, stakeholder engagement, and internal coordination, contributing to RTV’s mission to end ultra-poverty in last-mile villages.
Key Responsibilities
● Project Support: Assist the project manager in all phases of project management, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Help to maintain project schedules, track progress, and ensure adherence to timelines and project milestones.
● Documentation and Reporting: Support in maintaining comprehensive project documentation. Assist in preparing regular progress updates and final project reports for internal and external stakeholders.
● Stakeholder Coordination: Facilitate communication and coordination between RTV’s internal teams, including implementation, evaluation, operations and partnerships team.Help organize meetings, compile feedback, and ensure stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
● Analysis and Reporting: Support the team in analysis and the generation of insights for project evaluations and funder reporting. Assist in ensuring data accuracy and relevance for reporting purposes.
● Administrative Assistance: Manage administrative tasks related to project implementation, including but not limited to organizing files, scheduling meetings, and ensuring compliance with evaluation protocols.
● Capacity Building Support: Assist in organizing and facilitating capacity-building initiatives for RTV teams, enhancing skills in project implementation tracking, evaluation, and reporting.
● Other Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned, supporting the Project Manager and the broader RTV team in achieving program and organizational goals.
Required Skills and Expertise
● Advanced degree in International Development, Program Evaluation, Public Administration, or a related field.
● Minimum of 5 years’ experience in program management, with a specific focus on development, implementation, and evaluation.
● Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
● Comprehensive digital skills, particularly in Ms Excel, and familiarity with project management tools
● Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable strategies.
● Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, with experience in reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
● Demonstrated knowledge of M&E methodologies, tools, and best practices.
● Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment across multiple departments in various time zones.
● Detail-oriented and well-organized to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
● Knowledge of donor reporting requirements and compliance standards.
● Willingness to frequently travel to field offices and last-mile partner villages.
