Job Summary
The Marketing Manager will develop, implement, and manage strategies to elevate Hugamara Group’s restaurant and bar brands. The role combines creativity with analytical insight to design marketing campaigns, grow customer bases, and position Hugamara as a hospitality leader in Kampala and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
• Marketing Strategy:
o Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns.
o Identify new market opportunities and drive brand visibility through partnerships and collaborations.
o Conduct market research to understand customer preferences, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
• Content Creation & Digital Marketing:
o Oversee the creation of engaging digital content for social media, blogs, and newsletters.
o Plan, execute, and manage digital marketing activities, including SEO, SEM, PPC, and email campaigns.
o Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to optimize strategies and ROI.
• Brand Management:
o Champion brand consistency across all marketing channels.
o Manage the design and production of marketing materials, ensuring alignment with the brand identity.
o Coordinate seasonal promotions, events, and campaigns to enhance brand loyalty.
• Customer Engagement:
o Lead initiatives to foster customer loyalty and improve experiences.
o Manage social media presence and ensure timely responses to feedback and inquiries.
• Team & Budget Management:
o Train and manage junior marketing staff or external consultants.
o Budget, track, and report on marketing expenses to ensure cost-effective operations.
Desired Qualifications & Skills
• Education:
o Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Industry-specific education preferred).
• Experience:
o 3–8 years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in hospitality marketing.
o Proven expertise in content creation, digital marketing, and lead generation.
• Skills:
o Strong understanding of marketing tools and social media platforms.
o Results-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
o Ability to influence stakeholders and execute strategies effectively.
o Exceptional organizational and presentation skills.
o Knowledge of data analysis and marketing performance optimization.
