To scan for business opportunities especially in Large Enterprises business segment and Public Sector to position the company for effective and competitive bid response. The bidding process has become so competitive and complex especially with the increased number players in the telecom industry.
MTN Uganda Limited is an equal opportunity employer and is seeking to recruit competent individuals to fill the following position;

Main Job Functions:
• Overseeing and managing the end-to-end bid process, from identifying opportunities, understanding of customer requirements, submitting winning proposals through to contract renewal strategy.
• Formulating effective strategies for the bidding process, managing resources and ensuring compliance with client requirements.
• Define potential partnerships needed for effective bids response.
• Qualify opportunity and customer context, including incumbent provider(s) and competitive landscape to the bids
• Profile customers including key decision maker mapping.
• Present estimated deal value and fit with MTN strategy, capabilities and business objectives.
• Manage virtual bid teams and inputs from key stakeholders, typically engaging with sales, marketing, product teams, finance, commercial, legal and project management / delivery.
• Work with the Sales lead to develop a clear win strategy for each bid and ensure win themes are clear and compelling.
• Understand and resolve complex technical, strategic and business issues.
• Review potential discretionary discounts applied to the client and confirm final pricing and margins.
• Prepare and review the commercial aspects of the bid, ensuring all products / services are included in the final price to the customer.
• Risk tracking and management throughout the bid process.
• Contributing to the written proposal – both in terms of content and presentation (such as providing guidance around the executive summary).
• Ensure timescales are achieved at each step of the bid process, including all internal governance, while taking the initiative in setting realistic deadlines.
• Co-ordinate and plan all client presentations required as part of the bid submission.
• Ensure in-time submission of compliant and commercially sound bids.
• Provide initial “go/ no go” decision and final approval to the bid response document.
• Drive continuous improvement, through post-bid reviews, both internally and with customers.

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management/ Engineering or computer Science

Experience:
• 3-5 years’ of relevant experience Management in a busy a large commercial enterprise
