Background
Jerusalem Heritage School that was formally known as Lira integrated schools its acquisition by Jerusalem Institute of Science and Technology in December 2019. This served as a pivotal moment in the institute’s expansion into primary and pre-primary education impacting beyond higher education and research. This transition aligns with the broader mind of the institute to contribute to the development of the community by investing in the education and well-being of the younger generation.

and nurturing the younger generation Recognizing the vital role of foundational education in shaping future leaders, Jerusalem Heritage School has undertaken a thorough restructuring process to align the school with its mission, vision, and core values while introducing modern methodologies envisioning a comprehensive educational sector that would cater for the needs of the local and international communities. Jerusalem Heritage School is located in Jinja Camp ‘A’ Coll, Ojina C Ward, Lira City Wost Division. Former Lira integrated schools. Currently transformed into a modern and of an international standard.

Reports to: Principal
Roles & Responsibility
• Initiate, develop, implement, and review human resource policies and practices in line with School’s strategic plan Streamline jeb design, organizational structures, and workload distribution;
• Develop and monitor HRD annual plan and budget in line with the Human Resources Policies and the strategic plan
• Develop work targets for the Human Resource Directorate in line with the Human Resource Policies
Qualification/Experience
• A Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Organizational and Industrial Psychology. Management and Organizational Development or MBA Human Resource option, OR
• A Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources Management from a recognized institution is an added advantage. Professional certification in HR-related disciplines such as CIPD, and CHRA is an added advantage
• At least 5 years of work experience, at the Sanior Managerial level in a reputable institution
• Must be an active member of the Human Resource Manapers Association of Uganda (HRMAU)
