JOB DETAILS:
EFFLUENT TREATMENT PLANT OPERATOR, KAMPALA

Reporting To Environment Health & Safety Officer, The Successful Candidate Will;

Key Result Areas:
• Maintenance of ETP to ensure continuous and reliable plant operation.
• Comply with discharge regulations when treating effluent.
• Prepare records of effluent treated.
• Prepare monthly summary of performance.
• Make sure emergency response plans are in place to cope with situations requiring immediate action.
• Maintain cleanliness of the ETP.
• Liaise with production units for effluent treatment.
• Adhere to the health and safety and QMS guidelines at all times.
• Conform to environmental management system requirements
• Any other tasks assigned by the EHS Officer

Educational Qualifications and Experience

• Uganda Advanced Certificate in Science subjects preferably Chemistry and Physics or its equivalent.
• 1-year relevant experience in a manufacturing plant.

• Mechanical ability.
• Physical strength and stamina.
• The ability to work in high places.
• The ability to get along well with co-workers.
• The ability to keep up to date with changing technology.
