Human Capital Business Solutions Ltd is an HR Consulting Firm that specializes in Strategic HR Advisory, Talent Acquisition & Development, Risk Management and Business Process Outsourced Services with our Headquarters based in Uganda and Country Office in Tanzania.
We are currently looking for a Business Development Trainee to join team. The BDT will be pivotal in generating new business opportunities by identifying and qualifying potential clients. As a BDT, you will be the prospects’ initial point of contact, effectively articulating our HR consulting services and building a strong sales pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
• Research and identify potential clients through various channels, including online research, social media, and industry events.
• Conduct outbound lead generation activities such as prequalification, cold calling, email outreach, and personalized messaging to nurture prospects.
• Developing & running prospecting strategies
• Engage with prospects to understand their HR challenges, needs, and objectives.
• Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and prioritize opportunities for the sales team.
• Initiate strategic partnerships and business opportunities to enhance the company’s market presence.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify growth areas and target markets.
• Cultivate strong client relationships, and address inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
• Analyze sales data and marketing metrics to evaluate performance and prepare regular reports for management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and alignment with business objectives.
• Plan and participate in industry-specific conferences, and events to showcase services and network with potential clients.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Graduation within the past 2 years.
• Good communication in English
• Agile and passionate about business development work
• Good at execution and computer Skills (MS. Excel & PowerPoint)
Desirable
• Active Listening: Understand and respond to questions and client needs.
• Communication Skills: Clear communication.
• Persuasion and Negotiation: Persuade and negotiate terms.
• Problem-solving: Address client needs and objections.
• Relationship Building: Build trust and long-term relationships.
