Responsibilities
• Develop and implement a comprehensive plan for the BPO center, including launch, program delivery, training, and ongoing operations.
• Oversee the recruitment, selection, and training of entry-level Hosting Support Specialists.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the BPO program.
• Ensure high-quality and efficient delivery of online support services.
• Manage program budget and ensure financial accountability and transparency.
• Develop and implement effective systems for monitoring and evaluation to ensure program impact and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
• Stay informed about trends and developments in the technology industry and education and make recommendations for increasing employability throughout the batches.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Knowledge, qualifications, and experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in BPO or a related field
• Strong technological knowledge, especially in online support services and chat platforms.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate staff at all levels. Experience in remote line management is essential.
• Proven ability to undertake and lead strategic planning, program development, and evaluation.
• Desirable: Degree/Bachelors in a tech-related field like software engineering or similar disciplines.
Skills and abilities
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Ability to provide thought leadership and constantly drive for solutions.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• High-level communication skills, including experience communicating effectively across cultures and with diverse audiences, both verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrable ability to think creatively and practically in support of initiatives to achieve positive change
• Ability to break down barriers (structural, functional, cultural, other) between teams and facilitate sharing expertise and resources.
