Mayfair Insurance Company Uganda Ltd is a General Insurance Company providing various general insurance products in Uganda since November 2018. The head office of Mayfair Insurance Company Uganda limited is located at Plot 56, Lugogo bypass, Lohana Tower D, 7th Floor.
JOB PURPOSE
Overseeing and driving the development, implementation and performance of the Bancassurance strategy and will be responsible for business growth under this channel. The assistant Business development manager-bancassurance will also lead our engagements with banks on bancassurance.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB/KEY RESULT AREAS
• Build a strong bancassurance team that will deliver the company objectives.
• Establish and maintain close relationships with our partner banks through constant engagement and response to inquiries.
• Work with banks in development of bespoke insurance solutions to match the emerging needs of customers.
• Responsible for driving delivery of the bancassurance channel revenue budgets.
• Establish and maintain close business relationships with all our partner banks while opening new opportunities for collaboration.
• Receive and ensure timely resolution of all issues that may be raised by banks in their engagements with The Company.
• Represent the company in the banking fraternity events and build rapport with leading players in the bancassurance space.
QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCES
• Proven interpersonal, social and communication skills
• High Level of Personal and Professional Integrity
• Ability to work well under pressure and with minimum supervision
• Academic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing or related field.
• Professional Qualifications- Professional insurance qualification is an added advantage.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum of three (03) years of experience in bancassurance-related sales.
