Uganda Women Entrepreneurs Association Limited (UWEAL) is a women membership-based organization with 80,000 registered entrepreneurs and 3.2 million beneficiaries, established in 1987. UWEAL’s overarching goal is to have a wealthy woman meaningfully contributing to the National Economic growth and Development. UWEAL’s mandate is grounded in 3 core program areas which are advocacy, networking and capacity building. We advocate for policies that create an enabling environment for women businesses to thrive and compete favorably in the business world. We also provide platform for business networking and capacity building.
