The internet platforms created by Let’s Walk Uganda since its founding in 2016 have helped thousands of LGBT+ individuals. In Uganda, there are LGBT+ people in every community, and there have been substantial recent attempts by Let’s Walk Uganda to raise LGBT+ visibility and lessen discrimination. Access to basic health and economic services is extremely difficult for younger LGBT+ people, which primarily compromises their physical and digital safety.
