Alliance for Finance Monitoring (ACFIM) is a pro-democracy, pan-African political finance think-tank and money in politics watchdog in Africa. ACFIM defends democracy by promoting open, transparent, and accountable political financing in Africa. ACFIM publishes Secrets Known, the Political Finance Index and conducts annual conferences on Money in Politics in Africa. ACFIM strengthens capacity for campaign finance monitoring through the Political Finance Academy. ACFIM also promotes the rights of citizen election observers as human rights defenders.
