Commercial Operations Manager
THE POSITION IS BASED IN UGANDA
The company partners with international donors and NGOs to implement farmer-training development programs who aim to increase farmers yields and incomes as well as the overall agricultural systems in the region.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Manage the overall operations of sourcing, manufacture and export business with annual volumes of 3,000, reporting directly to the CEO
• Lead production, quality control, warehousing, logistics, freight clearing/forwarding of product exports and consumables imports, customer complaints and recalls
• Support the CEO/CFO to manage the unit PnL, including annual commercial budgeting and cash-flow forecasting, customer credit control, cash-planning and and supplier payable control
• Support the CEO/CFO in planning and implementing CAPEX projects, marketing/contracting, and audit
• Manage staffing and supervision of 5 department heads and 117 factory staff.
• Manage relationships with external stakeholder, including auditors, regulatory authorities, and suppliers
