The mission of the Maintenance Manager is to manage the execution of maintenance within his or her scope ensuring planification, analysis, optimization, and control of related costs Perimeter: all mobile equipment (trucks and trailers, yellow machines, forklift, etc.…) and other equipment (balers, tippers and compactors, bins, processes, site facilities, etc.) in Uganda. Supplier and service provider relations in the context of expert assessments related to the follow-up of technical disputes.

SECURITY & COMPLIANCE
He ensures that the regulatory compliance of the equipment is maintained throughout its life in the company
He ensures compliance with safety instructions, SHEQ standards, national social regulations and company agreements.

MAINTENANCE (organization and performance)
He is the guarantor of the application of client procedures, policies, and strategy for maintenance He optimizes the repairs and maintenance operations in coordination with end users and the procurement department.to obtain the best availability ratio of all vehicles, yellow machines, and equipment He validates the maintenance plans and ensures that they are monitored (preventive) and that operating procedures are respected He is the guarantor of the analysis and reporting of all technical incidents He is the guarantor of the performance of his workshops and/or suppliers/contractors (productivity/profitability) He ensures implementation and respect of contractual terms and performance for subcontracted maintenance services. He implements and monitors technical action plans He is responsible for the effective and constructive participation of his team with the services in interfaces (internal and external) He ensures the level of satisfaction of his internal clients BUDGET He participates in the preparation of the budget He is responsible for the management and control of maintenance costs He is the guarantor of the correct allocation of costs (internal and external) He monitors, anticipates and analyses maintenance costs by type and equipment on a monthly basis He is the guarantor of the proper application of the framework agreements. He is the person responsible for the maintenance TCO in his area

HR MANAGEMENT He ensures the hierarchical management of his direct team (workshop foreman and mechanics)

FLEET and EQUIPMENT MANAGEMENT o He participates in elaborating the technical specifications of the equipment and vehicles. o He organizes the reception operations for vehicles and equipment entering the fleet (support from approved local experts). It makes reliable and consolidates the information from the counters of vehicles, machinery and equipment for integration into the CMMS (computerized maintenance management system)

Relations Internals: National Operations Manager Logistics Manager Country Manager Financial Manager Procurement Manager External: Technical supports SA and Suez Service providers, suppliers, builders Profile

Formation: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Higher education in truck maintenance. Confirmed experience on CMMS Technical skills / Experiences Minimum 5 years of experience in internal/external maintenance management, preferably on trucks/yellow machines. Proven experience in managing internal workshops and contractors Cost control and budget experiences Soft Skills: He must demonstrate Leadership, Autonomy, and Capacity to analyze and synthesize. Sense of organization and rigor Results and efficiency-oriented Honesty and integrity Sense of the internal customer’ service provider

Work environment: The position is located in Nyamasoga, Hoima) Service car (travel to Albertine Region and Kampala) Mobile phone Computer Lunch food by company
