Kilimo Trust is seeking highly motivated and talented young University graduates from Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda to join its team of experienced and motivated professionals.

Kilimo Trust is a not-for-profit organisation working on agriculture for development across the East African Community. We are headquartered in the Republic of Uganda, with affiliated subsidiaries in Tanzania, Rwanda and Kenya. Our vision is to see “sustained and equitable wealth creation, food and nutrition security for smallholder farmers and other value chain actors”. The mission is to make agri-business a transformative tool for wealth creation, food and nutrition security for smallholder farmers and other value chain. Our core services include:
a) Markets and value chains research
b) Facilitating market linkages in domestic, regional and global markets
c) Customised trainings to all value chain actors.

We are looking for Interns that:
1) Are in the fields of agribusiness management, horticulture, apiculture, fisheries, rural innovations & ICT, crop science/agronomy, animal science, food science and technology, environmental management, process engineering, agricultural engineering, business science, statistics, social work and social administration.
2) Scored a distinction in Mathematics and English at O’Level
3) Have a minimum CGPA of an Upper Second or First class only
4) Have excellent writing and oral communication skills
5) Below 25 years of age
6) Have excellent analytical skills, are self-driven, innovative, problem solvers, willing to learn, good timekeepers and value integrity.
