For our dynamic microfinance organization “SYPO Uganda Ltd., we seek to recruit competent individuals to join our talented and dynamic team.
SYPO Uganda Ltd. has a strong social mission and is a subsidiary of the Dutch NGO SYPO. The ambitious company was started in 2011 and gives out tens of thousands of low- threshold business loans to groups of women in remote, rural areas of the Mukono and Bwikwe districts. The company disburses and collects loans through mobile money.

Zone Managers
Please only apply if you meet these criteria
• Fluent in English and Luganda
• Related academic degree (e.g. finance, commerce, business administration)
• 3+ years relevant work experience in banking,
• microfinance or financial services
• Proficient in Microsoft office programs
• Enthusiastic about working in a rural setting Strong values, ethics and honesty

Role description
Monday-Wednesday of each week, Zone Managers work in field offices in rural areas of the Mukono and Buikwe districts. During these field days, Zone Managers recruit clients, assess loan applications, enter applications in our loan management system, and visit and support clients and their businesses. On Friday, Zone Managers enter new loan applications in our loan management system and prepare their financial administration. Zone Managers are expected to be excellent communicators, effective field workers and diligent administrators.
