DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (PAC) intends to pre- quality a group of organizations in a timely manner, and potentially solo prop from them shorty thereafter for provision of services (referred to as LOTS in this call) under the project improving food security and resilience of food production system in Karamoja

MANDATORY MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
In order to qualify, the organizations intending to participate must meet the following requirements
Not be currently suspended or debarred by PAC, any other UN organization the EU or the World Bank
A valid certificate of registration to operate in Uganda as non-commercial for-profit entity issued by relevant government entity. Only applicants, whose care of business is such that they can deliver the envisaged services outlined in this request for expression of interest, are eligible to participate Demonstrated technical human resource capacity and evidence of successful accomplishments of similar assignments in Karamoja sub-region or a related context
Demonstrated operational presence and capacity to deliver the assignment in the project districts in Karamoja sub-region for a period of at least four
A letter of no objection and/or satisfactory performance of similar assignment From the event detric local governments
Reference letters of satisfactory performance of related assignments in a similar context with at least one United Nations Agency, fund or programme
