JOB DETAILS:
Job purpose
To ensure excellent customer service through effective identification of customer requests for diagnosis, in addition to accurate and timely diagnosis and repairs of the vehicle faults while resolving the customer complaints in a timely manner.
Key responsibilities
• Carry out technical interviews with Customers to assist in trouble shooting of vehicle defect
• Provide diagnosis and repair explanation/reports to both Customer and Service Management
• In charge of workshop technical information and reports including FTR, SKR & RSR
• Offer repair support to the technicians
• Investigate and conduct a detailed root cause analysis on all repeat jobs to ensure they are fixed right and share learnings with the workshop to avoid reoccurrence of the same
• Diagnose and fix complicated general repair jobs received in the workshop
• Address all VOC (Voice of the Customer) complaints received from a technical aspect
• Offer On-the-job training for technicians in liaison with technical training team
• Support in the installation of workshop equipment
• Conduct training for the workshop team on use of equipment and PPE
• Ensure adherence to safety and Anzen guidelines within the workshop
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in automotive/mechanical engineering
Experience
• At least 3 years demonstratable experience in a similar role in the motor industry.
Key competencies and skills
• Ability to drive (possession of a valid license)
• A clear understanding of vehicle systems and their operations.
• Good communication coupled with interpersonal skills
• Report writing
