Job Summary:
The stores in-charge role is to ensure the safety of inventory and company assets whilst minimizing the risk of theft, fraud and losses by ensuring compliance with stock management and control processes and procedures
Main Duties
To ensure receipt, storage, internal movement, issuance of raw, packing materials and finished goods dispatches complies with stores operations’ management and control policies and guidelines.
• To oversee and manage stores inventory such as the finished goods, raw materials, packaging, stationery and other consumables.
• To conduct cycle count of raw, packaging materials and Finished Goods.
• Responsible for production of routine stores reports.
• Carry out regular reconciliation and updates of the SAP system, Stock cards and EFRIS.
• Appropriately and effectively manage the store space, keep the stores clean and tidy at all times, organize stocks in stores to ease FIFO operations to avoid materials spoilage.
• Process all customer orders and verify them prior to loading in the distribution trucks.
• To supervise store assistants to perform required administrative/operational duties.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics and supply chain management, stores management, statistics, and business-related courses.
• Familiar with Inventory, production and sales modules on SAP.
• Two years experience in a similar position in an FMCG plant.
• Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of EFRIS invoicing.
• Be a disciplined and dynamic Team Player.
• Ability to conceptualize and innovative thinking.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to deliver results against set targets.
• An understanding of evidence of delivery and stock management processes.
• Possess an understanding on interrelationship between processes.
