Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical evaluations for hydro power plant energy systems and substation projects
- Oversee design and implementation of fire detection/suppression systems in substations
- Review bid submissions for technical compliance with UETCL standards
- Supervise installation, testing and commissioning of electrical systems
- Conduct training programs for operational staff
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- 7+ years experience in power transmission systems
- Professional registration with Uganda Engineers Registration Board
- Expertise in IEC standards and Uganda’s power regulations
