Position Purpose:
• To oversee and manage sterilization processes, ensuring compliance with standards and efficient operations within the department.

Job description
• Implement SOPs for production and report if any deviations is observed to the Head of Production.
• check the in-process control parameters of production.
• Ensure the implementation of the environment norms of various production areas as defined and get the deviation corrected by the utility department.
• Ensure implementation of preventive maintenance schedule for the equipment and machines in the department.
• Check the yield at various operational points to improve the result through correct implementation of SOPs.
• Implement CGMP norms in the production area and also during manufacturing and on continuous basis.
• Oversee all production operations, cleanliness of the area, all documents and staff.
• oversee cleaning operations in the department by cleaning contract team & report to Head of Production.
• Plan for manpower requirement for casual workers in the department apart from the packing section.
• check availability of trained staff and casual workers.
• Supervise trained staff and workers working in their respective positions
• Review and suggest periodic trainings wherever required.
• ensure the training of staff on the changes in SOPs from time to time
• report the abnormalities on daily basis to the Production Manager
• inform machine breakdowns to the Utility department and Production immediately
• Implement the monthly plan received from the Head of Production.
Skills and requirements
• At least 5 years’ proven experience in a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry or any related field.
• Should have knowledge of sterilization techniques, equipment, and regulations. Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are also essential for this position.
• Good computer skills
