Job Summary:
The Sales Representatives will build business in the region by identifying and executing the best work practices to achieve the set sales targets, acquire customers and drive customer growth and retention.
Main Duties
• Ensuring that the territory achieves targeted volume sales and revenue on a daily basis.
• Ensuring 100% full range availability (all brands and packs) within allocated territory.
• Ensuring 100% visibility of products in outlets within the allocated territory.
• Driving price compliance across all outlets through daily customer engagements.
• Timely placement of available trade activation material within the customers at all times.
• Responsible for execution of product availability and visibility in major events within the territory.
• Relationship building with customers and relevant stakeholders within the allocated territory.
• Drive the acquisition of targeted distributors and growth of retail customers within the assigned territory.
• Formulation of productive and cost-effective route schedules for the assigned distribution tool for the territory and ensuring adherence to the route schedules.
• Timely generation and submission of sales and marketing reports for the region.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
• Diploma in Sales & Marketing from a reputable institution.
• 3 years hands-on experience in sales or marketing within FMCG business.
• Self-driven personality with demonstrated ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Excellent Interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to meet sales targets.
• Strong selling and negotiating skills.
• Confident, well-spoken.
• The ability to generate reports and conduct reconciliations.
• Possession of distribution trucks driving competency and qualification is core added advantage
