We are seeking a dedicated Safety Coordinator to join our client’s dynamic team in the oil and gas sector. The Safety Coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and environmental best practices while promoting a culture of safety excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Developing, implementing, and maintaining Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
2. Conducting risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend mitigation measures.
3. Monitoring compliance with local, national, and international safety regulations and standards.
4. Coordinating and conducting safety training programs for employees and contractors.
5. Leading safety audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
6. Investigating incidents, near-misses, and accidents, and preparing detailed reports with corrective action plans.
7. Ensuring proper use and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
8. Supervising emergency response drills and updating emergency response plans.
9. Maintaining accurate records of safety-related incidents, reports, and compliance documentation.
10. Collaborating with operational teams to integrate safety practices into daily workflows.
11. Providing technical advice and guidance on HSE matters to management and staff.
12. Coordinating waste management and ensuring adherence to environmental best practices.
13. Managing contractor safety programs and ensuring alignment with company policies.
14. Keeping up to date with industry trends and developments in HSE standards.
15. Promoting a strong safety culture across the organization and encouraging proactive safety behavior.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Valid HSE management certification.
• Minimum of 2 year of HSE management experience on offshore platforms or land rigs.
• Strong understanding of oil and gas safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
