The Program / Department / Team
The Jobtech Alliance is an ecosystem-building initiative around inclusive jobtech in Africa launched in late 2021. Utilizing a systems change approach, the initiative is built around two workstreams: (1) We create an enabling environment for the sector to thrive through research and community-building, as well as work on funding, policy, and sector representation; (2) We deliver a range of acceleration activities with jobtech platforms across ten countries in Africa which enable entrepreneurs to build greater scale, impact, and inclusivity in their solutions. In Uganda, we have a particular focus on connecting refugees to livelihoods opportunities on jobtech platforms, which involves working both with startups and refugee-led organizations.
