Roofings Group is the leading manufacturer of quality steel and plastic building products in East Africa. We are currently seeking to recruit a highly motivated, technically experienced, and competent persons, with zeal to perform beyond expectations and excited to Join a (30) years leading steel manufacturer.
Key duties and responsibilities
• Control and monitor all production activities in the Plant.
• Product quality inspection and improvement
• Production Planning for raw materials, consumables, and finished goods.
• Machine Care and maintenance.
• Labor planning and control.
• Productivity planning and improvement (Goal and Value Setting).
• Process control and Inventory Management.
• Process monitoring, evaluation, and measurement.
• Spare parts, tools planning and management.
• Ensure material accountability.
• Interface with different stake holders; internal and external.
Required Qualification, Skills & Experience
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent from recognized university
• A Minimum of five (5) years’ working experience as a production Engineer in a similar work environment.
• Ability to identify and define problems, collect, analyze, and interpret data, draw appropriate conclusions, and propose solutions or corrective action.
• Ability to work with minimum or no supervision.
• Strong organizational and supervisory skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and clearly.
• Must be self-motivated and a great team player.
