Legal Officer job at Swift Minds

Swift Minds: is hiring on behalf of our client in the banking sector.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Advice on legal matters related to banking operations, contracts, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
• Research and analyze legal issues and provide recommendations to management.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, agreements, and legal documents
• Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations affecting the banking industry.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure legal compliance in all business activities.
• Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures.
• Work closely with external legal counsel when required.

Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in law
• Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice.
• Strong knowledge of financial laws and regulations.
• Ability to interpret complex legal documents and provide practical advice.
• Good understanding of risk management principles.
