AFROHUN is looking for a dedicated and experienced Janitor to join their team. The role involves ensuring a clean, safe, and organized environment in the organization’s premises. General Requirements:
To qualify for the position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
1. Educational Background:
o A minimum of an “O” Level Certificate.
2. Experience:
o At least 1+ years of experience in a janitorial or cleaning role, preferably in a reputable organization.
3. Skills and Attributes:
o Training in cleaning will be considered an added advantage.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with staff and visitors.
o Ability to prioritize tasks and perform multiple duties simultaneously.
o Outstanding customer service skills to provide a positive experience for all stakeholders.
o Proven ability to work effectively individually and as part of a team.
o Ability to follow oral and written instructions accurately.
4. Residency Requirement:
o Must reside near Bwebajja, as proximity is essential for the role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of office premises, including cleaning surfaces, floors, restrooms, and common areas.
• Ensure proper waste disposal and recycling processes are adhered to.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly.
• Follow a regular cleaning schedule and adapt to additional cleaning tasks as required.
• Assist in setting up meeting rooms or event spaces as needed
