Invitation To Bid tendering at Soroti Catholic Diocese Integrated Development Organization (SOCADIDO)

INVITATION TO BID FOR HYDROGEOLOGICAL SURVEY, DRILLING AND INSTALLATION OF BOREHOLES IN THE DISTRICTS OF KUMI, KAPELETYONG AND AMURIA.
Soroti Catholic Diocese Integrated Development Organization (SOCADIDO) is a development arm of Soroti Catholic Diocese, a body affiliate to CARITAS-Uganda of the Uganda Episcopal Conference. It came into existence in 1081.

Over the years, SOCADIDO’s focus has been changing to align the organization’s development interventions to the prevailing circumstances and needs of the target population in a holistic and integrated model to ensure sustainable systemic changes in the Teso sub-region.
SOCADIDO with funding from BMZ/Sign of hope is implementing 2 project titled: Building resilience of the rural population in Eastern Uganda by promoting access to WASH infrastructure and capacity development of local actors to provide it in a sustainable
manner.

SOCADIDO now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for hydrogeological survey, borehole drilling and hand pump installation.

Eligibility criteria
• 4 Boreholes in Kumi District, 4 Boreholes in Kapelebyong District and 4 Boreholes in Amuria District.
• Details of the company profile including physical and postal address of the firm, office number mail address and telephone number of directors
• Certificate of registration/Incorporation
• Registered power of attorney authorizing signatory representation of the firm to sign bids or tenders on behalf of the firm
• Valid Trading license.
• Tax registration certificate and recent tax clearance certificate addressed to Soroti Catholic Diocese integrated Development Organization.
• Must have a valid drilling permit
• General receipt acknowledging payment of bid foo

Submission of bids
The bidding documents in English shall be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application to the address provided below and upon payment of non-refundable foo of UGX 100.000 shillings paid to A/c Name SOCADIDO AGRIC DEVELOPMENT, Centenary Bank, Soroti branch, A/C No. 4510400192
All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX 5 million shillings.
The deadline for submission is 11th September 2024 before 11:00 am and all late bids shall be rejected. Bids shall be opened in the presence of bidder’s representatives who choose to attend the bid opening at 11:30 am on 11th September 2024
