Role Description
This is a full-time internship role at SIS. The intern will work on site at the school in Kampala and will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including supporting teachers with lesson planning, helping to plan extracurricular activities, assisting with administrative tasks, and supporting students in their learning. The intern will also have the opportunity to engage in professional development opportunities and gain valuable experience in an international school setting.
Qualifications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Experience working with children or in an educational setting
• Commitment to education and a desire to work with students
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and to take on new challenges
• Bachelor’s degree in education, social sciences, or related field
• Experience living or working abroad is a plus
