Human Resource Key Performance Tasks and Responsibilities Tasks and Responsibilities
• Monitoring staff attendance and behavior
• Maintain a confidential system for personnel records for all Staff
• Maintain and follow Human Resources procedures, regulations, and processes related to the function, rights, and responsibilities of all staff at the project.
• Provide counseling to Engineers who have grievances/problems with others.
• Assist in the arrangements that need to be made for any maintenance related to the Engineer’s accommodation and office.
• Assist in the preparation of new staff housing kits, including linens, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, etc.
• Prepare medical insurance forms to register new staff, withdraw /resign employees, and aid in solving problem claims.
• Assist staff in filing for leave applications and outstation forms.
• Inventory management and supply of staff household and office items.
• Perform general administration duties for the Human Resources Office.
• Perform private/confidential filing for the Human Resources Office/administration.
• Keep the Admissions Department informed of staff meetings.
• Prepare Monthly Timesheets for all Engineers so as to fasten salary payments on time.
• Managing company vehicles, coordinating maintenance and upgrading when necessary.
• Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
• Assist management with respect to staff discipline and taking necessary action against staff misbehavior
• Ensure a comfortable working environment, a harmonious working atmosphere, and maintain the organizational culture
• Interface with HR Operational Groups and external vendors to cultivate and maintain strong working relationships
• Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Formal Education & Certification
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or Public Administration.
The HR officer will be deployed in Lira. The contract will run for one -year on a renewable basis.
