Sokoni Africa Limited is currently seeking an experienced and results-driven Hotel Store Manager to join our team. As a Hotel Store Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the hotel’s store, including inventory management, purchasing, and sales. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the hotel’s store and delivering outstanding service to our guests.
Responsibilities
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel’s store, ensuring smooth and efficient processes
• Manage inventory levels and monitor stock availability to meet guest demands
• Create and implement effective purchasing strategies to optimize costs and ensure timely delivery of goods
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve sales targets
• Train and supervise store staff, providing guidance and support
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the store
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment
Requirements
• Bachelors a or equivalent
• Proven experience as a Store Manager, preferably in a hotel or retail environment
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and purchasing practices
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in using MS Office Suite, material control system and other inventory management software
