DESCRIPTION
The Head of Revenue and Growth at VIYA Health Enterprises will play a pivotal role in developing and executing effective revenue-generating strategies, fostering key partnerships, and contributing to the overall success of the organization. This strategic leadership position requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in driving sales and revenue growth within the pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical sectors.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and Implement Revenue Strategies:
• Formulate and execute comprehensive revenue strategies aligned with the company’s overall objectives.
• Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, revenue streams, and market trends to ensure sustained growth.
Sales Leadership:
• Lead and mentor the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring the achievement of sales targets.
• Implement effective sales methodologies and processes to optimize the sales funnel.
Partnership Development:
• Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships to expand market reach and drive additional revenue streams.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create mutually beneficial alliances.
Market Analysis and Intelligence:
• Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities.
• Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making and refine revenue strategies.
Financial Management:
• Work closely with the finance team to develop and manage revenue budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics.
• Implement cost-effective measures to maximize profitability.
REQUIREMENTS
• Proven experience in a senior leadership role with a focus on revenue generation and growth strategies.
• Demonstrated success in driving sales and revenue growth within the pharmaceutical or related industry.
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
• Excellent leadership and team management capabilities, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and levels.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite and report writing.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Analytical and Results-oriented
• Customer-focused with good interpersonal skills to engage with people at all levels.
• Ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Excellent command of the English language and at least 1 local language.
• Should be willing to travel upcountry.
• Valid driving license
OTHERS/EXTRA DETAILS
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Business Management, Business Administration).
• Post-graduate qualification in management would be an added advantage.
• 7-10 years of business management experience, preferably in a large/mid-sized pharmaceutical market.
• Demonstrated experience in building business partnerships.
• Experience in leading sales operations and working with distributors.
• Experience in strategy development and management of digital marketing is an added advantage.
