THE NOTICE OF EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR PROVISION OF CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR THE STUDY ON NEW CUSTOMER CONNECTIONS, DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM LOSSES, DISTRIBUTION OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE COSTS, INVESTMENTS REQUIREMENT, QUALITY OF SERVICE, RELIABILITY OF SUPPLY, AND NON-COLLECTION RATES FOR THE PERIOD AFTER MARCH 2025, FOR THE ELECTRICITY DISTRIBUTION AND SUPPLY SEGMENTS
Under section 10 (a) of the Electricity Act 1999, Chapter 145 of the Laws of Uganda, the Electricity Regulatory Authority is mandated to regulate the Generation. Transmission. Distribution, Sale, Export, and Import of Electricity in Uganda.
The Electricity Regulatory Authority Intends to conduct a study of the New customer connections. Distribution system losses. Distribution operation and Maintenance costs. Investment requirement. Quality of service, Reliability of supply, and Non-collection rates.
The Electricity Regulatory Authority therefore, Invites Eligible Firms, to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Firms, should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services.
The detailed bid Notice can be accessed on the ERA website at www.era.go.ug or www.ppda.go.ug.
Interested Eligible Providers, may obtain further information from the Manager Procurement & Disposal Unit at the New ERA House, 2nd Floor, Room 2.10, from 08:00 AM to 4:30 PM during official working days or via email: pdu@era.go.ug.
Applications for expression of interest shall be submitted and received not later than 16th April, 2024.
Late submission shall be rejected.
The application shall be submitted with One (1) original and three (3) other copies in a sealed envelope, clearly Marked “Expression of Interest for provision of Consultancy Services for determination Of Tariff Performance Parameters for the period after March 2025, for the Electricity Distribution and Supply Segments” and addressed to:
