Join our Core Business Services (CBS) team and you will help support the important business enablement functions that keep our organization running strong. As a CBS professional, you will work across teams to provide the knowledge, resources and tools that help EY deliver exceptional quality service to our clients, win in the marketplace and support EY’s growth and profitability. Major teams within CBS include Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources, Enterprise Support Services, Brand Marketing and Communications, Business Development, Knowledge and Risk Management.

The Opportunity
As a driver, you will provide support services for the entire Firm. Our Enterprise Support Services (ESS) professionals span a wide range of vital roles, from administrative support to facilities management, providing transportation services for office employees and visitors. This role involves ensuring that the office vehicle is appropriately maintained and serviced, planning efficient travel routes, and ensuring punctual arrival at the destination.

Your key responsibilities
• Support with providing driver services using the EY Van – Ensure that staff are transported to places of destinations including pickups in time.
• Driving office vehicle to pick up or drop off employees or visitors.
• Deliver important documents to required destinations.
• Ensure that the office vehicle is always clean and in excellent working condition.
• Maintain daily vehicle checks, such as oil and water levels, tire pressure, and brakes.
• Schedule periodic maintenance and servicing of the office vehicle as required.
• Ensure that the office vehicle’s paperwork, including insurance, is up to date.
• Always observe traffic rules and regulations.
• Assist with loading and unloading of items from the vehicle, as necessary.
• Report any accidents, injuries, or vehicle damage to management promptly.
• Provide other Admin support: Support the procurement team in the purchase of office logistics.
• Support the delivery of proposals, bid documents, correspondences among others to the designated locations.
• Perform other duties as assigned other roles and duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Skills and attributes for success
• Ability to ride a motorcycle is an added advantage.
• Take an active interest in own personal performance development, including initiating regular meetings with counsellor to discuss goals and work in general.
• Good command of the English language (written and spoken)
• Interest in and good command of social media platforms
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS office applications
• Ability to multi-task as well as work independently and under pressure

To qualify for the role, you must have
• A relevant Diploma
• Minimum – 3 years of relevant experience preferably in a busy organisation
• Experience in riding motorcycles
• Valid motor vehicle driver’s license with a DL Classification and Class A riding license for a motorcycle.
• Good knowledge of the city centre/neighbouring area and ability to use navigation systems efficiently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Problem-solving abilities.

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to sit, walk, and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items on occasion.
• Need to have good hand-eye coordination.

Ideally, you’ll also have
Prior working experience in global professional services organizations or mid-tier firms
