Activities
The position holder is responsible for:
• Demonstrate HSE leadership, develop a safety culture with the team and service providers and be involved in the set up and implementation of the safety culture program of Company.
• Promote the full application of HQ, Affiliate and Project HSE rules, including policies, One Maestro referential, 12 golden rules and Company rules (CRs) by both Company and contractor’s personnel.
• Participate in the definition, implementation, and monitoring of the LOG HSE roadmap, risks assessment, KPIs and action plans.
• Maintain daily contact with the RSES-D to provide support, guidance and mentoring on the HSE subjects.
• Assist the RSES-D for any HSE event requiring Cause Tree Analysis.
• Provide HSE support to all Logistics operations (land transportation, lifting, storage of equipment).
• Lead work permit audits.
• Participate in internal audits, and all audits carried out by Contractors, partners, and authorities.
• Ensure proper follow up and close out of HSE actions in Synergy and other action trackers.
• Participate to the HSE performance evaluation of logistics providers.
• Prepare and be involved in partners, contractors, and local authorities HSE forums if occurring.
• Mentoring and evaluation of Logistics contractors through HSE, catering and accommodation inspections to ensure compliance and performance as per the contracts, international best practices / standards, and compliance with ISO 14001.
• Lead any HSE Committee on Logistics sites and control the quality of the logistics site induction.
• Liaise with the HSE department on all HSE topics and ensure that Golden Rules Campaigns, World Safety Days and World Environment Days are implemented within the logistics teams and sites.
• Ensure observation reporting & hazard awareness are being maintained at a high level.
• Manage the implementation and update of Bridging Documents on the Logistics sites when required.
• Provide input to weekly & monthly HSE reports within the logistics perimeter and propose appropriate improvements.
• Timely review the deliverables developed by the Contractors with regards to H3SE aspects and participate, when requested, in the review of queries / derogation requests.
• Gather project and Company site lessons learnt / REX, analyze their impacts within the logistics activities and share conclusions within logistics perimeter.
• Implement, in partnership with Logistics Contractors, Company safety initiatives on the logistics sites.
• Contribute and coordinate the implementation of annual HSEQ training plans including compulsory E-Learnings for both staff and contracted personnel.
• Dispatch HSE information in a timely manner within the logistics sites.
Qualifications/Experience Required
Qualification:
• Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent
Experience:
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in HSE positions at supervisory level with 8/10 years in oil & gas industry projects and operations.
• Logistics & HSE management rules, lifting/handling, storage management and techniques, land transportation, base management operations including catering and waste management.
• Good knowledge of Windows 365 and other office tools.
• Self-motivated, autonomous, and proactive in carrying out the activities of the job.
• Always adheres to the values and principles of the Company.
• Ability to work under pressure and stressing conditions, ability to adapt, analyses problems and communicates with all entities, analytical mind, rigorous, holistic approach and tenacity. Able to write Standing Instructions and Procedures.
• Active team player with ability to manage and integrate with others in different functions and environment.
