To maintain employee relations and ensure harmony within the workforce through proper management of discipline at the workplace, coordinate, organize and monitor all training and development activities that meet the company’s needs…
Key Performance Areas:
• Support the Human Resource & Administration Manager through the development and
• implementation of best practices in Human Resources Management
• Ensure that the human resources team fulfills it’s role within the organization on a day to day basis
• Be accountable to the Human Resource &
• Administration Manager in all matters relating to the human resources function and team.
• Responsible for managing human resources team at an operational level.
• Assist in providing professional support and advise to all line managers in relation to human resources issues.
Competencies:
Experience & Personal Specifications
• Minimum of five (05) years in HR experience with three (03) years at supervisory level
• Extensive experience in the conduct of IR/ER at management level particularly in security industry
• Demonstrable experience in recruitment, HRIS and creating of policies and procedures
• Familiarity with the application of employment law in the workplace
• Experience in managing HR projects e.g.
• implementation of performance management systems, designing and creating an employee handbook, managing staff satisfaction surveys
• Experience in managing large number of staff in a dynamic environment
Skills & Abilities
• Strong management and leadership skills together with excellent communication, influencing, negotiating and engagement skills.
• Sound judgment and decision-making skills with hands-on problem-solving approach, able to remain calm under pressure and take control of incidents. Ability to organize and plan a demanding workload and work within tight deadlines.
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently. • Ability of writing procedures, drafting reports. preparing business cases and compiling and adjusting duty rosters to meet short falls in staffing levels

Minimum qualification
• A bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Public administration and or related field.
• Post Graduate Dip. In Human Resource Management will be an added advantage
