Duty Station: Kampala
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and update the curriculum and materials in conformity with the NCHE Minimum standards.
• Initiates and develops ideas on curricular reforms.
• Conduct assessments and analysis to identify new development needs and develop training methods accordingly.
• Conduct curriculum audit and analysis and make recommendations to implement diversity, equity and inclusion, and best practices into course content.
• Develop curriculum based on needs assessment and review of current field of training programs.
• Conduct in-service training, conferences, and workshops as identified.
• Serve as a resource to the Faculty Deans, and provide materials as needed for course revisions.
• Participate and advise on program budgeting and account tracking. Any other duty.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Master’s Degree in related field, with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• •Excellent communication skills.
• •Curriculum development and program management experience
• •Extensive teaching and facilitation experience
• Substantial knowledge on National Council for Higher Education Programmes Minimum Standards.
• Three years of academic experience (preferably with Universities) management of programs and/or curricula.
• Interpersonal communication; curriculum development and management; program management; resource management.
