BID NOTICE UNDER OPEN DOMESTIC BIDDING
Catering Services for UEGCL Head Office and Namanve TPP – UEGCL/NCONS/23-24/10412/10413
Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited has allocated to be used for the acquisition of Catering Services for UEGCL Head Office and Namanve TPP The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above non-consultancy services.
Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic Bidding procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003 as amended, and Regulations 2023, and is open to all bidders.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below from 9:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday.
The Bidding Documents, in English, may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000/= (Uganda Shillings One Hundred Thousand Only) on UEGCL A/C No: 9030011177319, Stanbic Bank, upon which bidders will be presented a bank slip as proof of payment. The document will be issued electronically upon presentation of a receipt of payment.
Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 11:00am of Thursday 4th July, 2024. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security as follows:
Lot 1: UGX 1,800,000/= (Uganda Shillings One Million Eight Hundred Thousand only)
Lot 2: UGX 2,500,000/= (Uganda Shillings Two Million Five Hundred Thousand only)
The bid security must be valid until 3rd February, 2025.
Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 11:10am of Thursday 4th July, 2024.

Display and communication of best evaluated bidder notice Within 5 working days from Contracts Committee award
Contract Signature After expiry of at least 10 working days from display of the best evaluated bidder notice and where applicable, the Attorney General’s approval.
