Ensuring Proper Installation Of Gps Tracking Devices
Summary of Position:
The Customer Support Officer is responsible for ensuring proper installation of GPS tracking devices on all client moving assets & generators. CSOs should also be able to deliver the highest-level of professional service to the Company clients while keeping tracker’s installation and service information strictly confidential.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Technical
• GPS installations of vehicles and assets.
• GPS maintenance and supports.
• Vehicle and Asset inspections/Surveys.
• Field reports.
• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
• Identify and submit reports on the causes of common faults on the tracking system.
• Repair of defective tracking units
• Proper de-installation and transfer of tracking units.
• Research & development.
2. Customer Service
• Coordinate with Helpdesk L1 to acquire driver information for the benefit of updating the driver database.
• Coordinate with Data analysts to geofence client sites.
• Engage client representatives/drivers to receive customer feedback.
• Give clients system awareness & brief trainings.
3. Sales & Marketing
• Carry out market intelligence.
• Identify & report repeat biz opportunities i.e. new fleet etc.
• Share company brochures while at site.
• Place 3D Services stickers on vehicles upon approvals from client representative.
Other responsibilities
• Log in to spice works and check history of support tickets in preparations of a job.
• To be polite and professional to the client at all times.
• Schedule adherence: on time for installation appointments, meetings & trainings
COMPETENCES /REQUIREMENTS
Education Background
Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Diploma in Automotive engineering
Bio Profile
23 – 28Years .Tech Savy personnel with sales oriented mentality.
Years of Experience
1 years of experience
Technology Skills
Engine troubleshooting, Electrical system diagnosis, Research & Development Skills, Proficient computer skills.
Other Requirements/ Skills
• Valid driving Permit.
• Fully stocked toolbox.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Great interpersonal skills, with the ability to work within a team environment or individually.
• High level of integrity.
• Problem solving & team work.
• Ability to travel and work on different locations/sites
• Ability to relocate to other regions.
