Location: Gulu-Anaka
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement crop management strategies for soybean and maize.
• Conduct soil analysis and recommend appropriate fertilization and irrigation practices.
• Monitor crop health and implement pest and disease management programs.
• Collaborate with farm staff to optimize planting, harvesting, and storage processes.
• Stay updated on the latest agricultural research and technologies.
• Provide training and support to farm workers and crop scouts.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, or a related field.
• Proven experience in soybean and maize cultivation.
• Strong knowledge of soil science, crop management, and pest control.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
