Bank of Uganda invites Sealed Bids from Eligible Bidders for the following tender:

Prequalification of External Auditors for Commercial Banks, Credit Institutions, Microfinance Deposit Taking Monday, September 30, Institutions, Forex Bureaus, Money Remitters. Payment 2024 Bervice Providers Payment System Operators and Issuers of Payment Instruments for the year 2025
The solicitation document may be inspected online under the Procurement tab on the Bank of Uganda website www.bou.or.us.
The Solicitation document shall be uploaded on Bank of Uganda website www.bou.or.us effective August 29, 2024. Interested audit firms should download the document, read it thoroughly well and prepare response in line with the requirements stated therein; and submit it before or by the stated deadline. Interested audit firms may also request for a soft copy of the solicitation document from procurement@kou.or.ua
The current 39 shortlisted firms prequalified for the years 2023, 2024, shall not be required to resubmit all the prequalification documents. However, the Bank shall request them to submit the documents listed in Table 1 of the solicitation document as part of due diligence on their status. Any farm that does not meet the requirements in the same table shall be disqualified and removed from the shortlist.
There will be a pre bid meeting at Bank of Uganda Headquarters. Plot 37/45. Kampala on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at 10.00am EAT and will take no more than an hour. All interested providers are requested to attend.
No payment shall be required for the solicitation document
Interested firms are free to submit their Bid responses before the submission deadline. There is no need to wait for the deadline day. Any submission after the deadline shall be rejected and not considered for evaluation.
