JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose
The overall purpose of the job is to provide technical support to the finance function by monitoring and tracking of all upcountry customer invoices and handling all invoicing queries from customers.
Key duties and responsibilities
1. Raise invoices for sales made to the company’s upcountry product distributors on a day-to-day basis against sales orders;
2. Perform day to day reconciliation of all upcountry distributor accounts to confirm existing stock levels, customer outstanding balances, payments falling due, and accounts positions as and when requested by customers;
3. Prepare a list of all open upcountry customer invoices on a day-to-day basis including action points/steps to be taken on the same and submit to the Accounts Supervisor Invoicing;
4. Promptly answer to any inquiries/issues/concerns raised by upcountry customers regarding invoicing in a timely manner;
5. Receive credit notes from upcountry distributors and forward the same to URA to ensure that they are processed, and balances settled;
6. Update and maintain records of accounting documentation by meticulously filing and archiving supporting documents as and when they accumulate in a sequential order that facilitates easy retrieval; and
7. Perform any other finance and administrative duties assigned by the Financial Manager from time to time.
Knowledge, experience and qualifications required
• Diploma in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 2 years’ working experience.
