Legal and Compliance – Legal and Compliance Officer – Kampala
Key Responsibilities: You will be responsible for assisting with litigious matters as well as identifying and managing operational legal risk issues that may arise at the company. Conducting research on various case laws and ensuring that employment and commercial contracts are compliant with the relevant legislation.
Requirements: BA Law or BCOM Law & LLB or LLB from a respectable University | Admission as an Attorney | Minimum of 3 years’ post-article experience either practicing law or in the business environment in-house legal counsel | Experience in the drafting, review, and negotiation of domestic and cross-border agreements, corporate and commercial transactions.
